Firstly, many thanks to all who contributed towards the Christmas Dinner. Special thanks to Jim Plaice for coordinating the menu list and to Neil Cameron the clubs chef for the preparation and cooking an excellent dinner, and last but not least the servers.

Well done to Julie Walker for getting the floor cleared and ready for the dancing to Kenny's CD of Scottish dance music. "" MAN FIT AH GRAND NICHT OH JIGS AND REELS WE HID""

Those who arrived on Friday night spent the evening "catching up" and reminiscing of meets gone by, while others were tasting different "Uisgeachan beatha".(Waters of life)

Saturday awoke to a rather "dreach latha ( dreich day in gaelic) low cloud with drizzle, this did not deter the following heading for the hills.

Jojo's day was Beinn Achaladair.> Bienn an Doithaidh and on to Beinn Dorian
"The ladies " ie Maggie,Julie, Rhona and our guest Sarah set off for Inveroran / Forest Lodge along the W.H.W and back.

Alan's group Lawrie, Lindsay, Janet and Jim, had a fine day climbing the hill above the Lodge>> Beinn Inverveigh.

Neil, Sandra and Colin drove Dave and Brian round to Forest Lodge for a nostalgic visit to the Loch Dochard Stables, however Brian had to return with Neil and Sandra due to the lack of gaiters needed to cross the Allt Ghabhar below Clashgour, Dave and Colin having crossed the Allt made the Stables.

Dave's first visit to the Stables was with Brian Clark Jimmy Ross and Tony Viveash and his dog Jim back in 1970, that's 47 years ago, O'my where has all these years gone.

Kenny drove to Inbhir fhaolain the Grampian Club's hut in Glen Etive to assist in the clubs working party. Kenny's second club.

Josse decided to have a relaxing day in the lodge.

The following - Trish, Richard, Michael, Stewart, Iain, Phil, Colin, Charlie and Ronnie arrived in the afternoon giving a grand total of 26, who were treated to a first class, 5 course Christmas dinner.

Sunday saw most of the party leave for home with walks en route. Sorry to say the walk into Gorton Bothy had to be abandoned due a vehicle breakdown.
Jojo headed for Ben Lui >Ben Oss>Ben Dubhchraig. Dave, Brian and Kenny locked up after making sure the lodge was left clean and tidy to CDMC standards.
